Farmer's Market Black Bean Chili

Recipe:
One lb. lean ground beef or bison from Steward's.
One 8 oz. dry black beans from Market Vendor, rinsed.
One med Onion from Sully's.

In a separate pot, place rinsed beans, salt and Chili powder; bring to boil, lower heat and simmer for 40 minutes or until beans are done but not over cooked, drain beans.

Brown onion in cast iron pan, brown meat with onion, add black beans, add one 15 oz can organic tomato sauce, add de Mars's Rooster Sauce to taste, let simmer together for 20 minutes or until done. Top with shredded Cheddar Cheese.
