Running like Roosters!

May is coming to a close and we here at de Mars’s Rooster Sauce have our sights set on the long days of summer.  As we wrapped up this month two of our VIP ran the Capitol City Half Marathon in Olympia just a few short days ago in an effort to stay healthy and participate in community events. After hoofing it in the rain for about an hour and a half our competitors were happy for the tasty heat provided by Rooster Sauce after they recovered from their race. In further news, de Mars’s Rooster Sauce was featured in the Olympia Power and Light issue as a new local business – it was great to get to share a bit more with readers about our business and products.

Onward and upward! June is nearly here and since it’s the month with the longest daylight hours (at least in the northern hemisphere) we are planning on making the most of it. You may have seen some of our demonstrations in local stores offering up a taste of Rooster Sauce to shoppers –we want to meet you! Stop for a sample and stay for a chat.  Father’s day is coming up and if you want to impress the socks off him, drag out that barbeque and cook him up something with a dash of Rooster Sauce. He’ll be so amazed at your culinary skill you’ll probably be in his good books for the year. Or maybe you’re planning your first camping trip soon and will be roasting something over your rustic fire-pit, in that case a little de Mars’s Rooster Sauce goes a long way to spice up that hot dog.

We are all ready to make it a ‘Cluckin Awesome’ summer and we want to invite you to be a part of it. After all –how hot is it? That depends on you.

OK, so as a guy who was in Olympia supporting my awesome partner running the Capital City Marathon, it's really sweet to see you guys both running and making CLUCKING AWESOME hot sauce. We tried your sauce at Sage's, LOVED IT, and bought two bottles via my iPhone right there. Tomorrow, I'm giving a bottle to my chef/caterer friend here in Portland. Rock the cluck on, and if you ever need a retail consultant-ish type to take this sweet hot curry deliciousness regional/national, let me know. It would be an honor and a privilege!
